Arrive at Danang International Airport where your guide and private vehicle will meet you. Transfer directly to Hoi An Ancient Town, a Unesco World Heritage site 30 km south of Danang. Walk the narrow streets of the old merchant quarter, cross the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, and explore the tailors and silk shops that line Tran Phu Street. Return to your Danang hotel for check-in. Overnight in Danang (meals not included today).
After breakfast, drive to Ba Na Hills, a French colonial hill station set 1,487 m above sea level. Take the cable car (one of the world's longest) up through cloud forest to the summit. Walk across the famous Golden Bridge, held aloft by two giant stone hands, and explore the French Village with its fountains, flower gardens, and vine-covered towers. Return to Danang by late afternoon. Breakfast and lunch included. Overnight in Danang.
A morning guided tour of Danang. Visit the Marble Mountains, five limestone and marble hills named after the five natural elements, and the Cham Museum, home to the world's largest collection of Cham sculpture. Drive along My Khe Beach, one of the finest stretches of sand on the central coast, and see the illuminated Dragon Bridge spanning the Han River. The afternoon is at leisure. Breakfast included. After breakfast, transfer to Danang Airport for your included one-way flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). On arrival, your guide and vehicle will meet you and transfer you to your Saigon hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure, the Bui Vien walking street, Ben Thanh Market, and the riverfront are all within easy reach. Breakfast included. Overnight in Saigon.
Morning departure for the Cu Chi Tunnels, 70 km northwest of Saigon. The tunnels are a 250 km network of underground passages used by Viet Cong fighters during the Vietnam War. Your guide will explain the wartime history as you crawl through a section of the original tunnels, examine the ingenious traps, and see the field kitchens and field hospitals carved out of the earth. Return to Saigon by early afternoon. Breakfast included. Overnight in Saigon.
Full day excursion to the Mekong Delta, the vast river network south of Saigon known as the "Rice Bowl" of Vietnam. Board a traditional sampan boat and wind through narrow canals lined with palms and water hyacinths. Visit a coconut candy workshop, a beekeeping station, and floating market stalls. Enjoy fresh tropical fruit and Vietnamese tea in a local orchard. Return to Saigon by early evening. Breakfast included. Overnight in Saigon.
After breakfast, free time until your transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your return flight to Nairobi. Our representative will assist with departure formalities.
