This Tembeza Wazazi package takes your parents north of Nairobi to the Mount Kenya and Laikipia highlands, cooler and greener than the plains further south. Two nights at a lodge in the circuit on full board, with a guided forest walk and a conservancy game drive built into the stay rather than a full day of driving. The route passes through Nanyuki, with a stop at the equator marker, before reaching the lodge. Activities are spaced out across the two full days so there's time to sit on the veranda between them.

Cancellation Policy

- •7–14 days before travel: 50% of the total booking

Depart Nairobi and drive north through Thika and Karatina, stopping at the equator marker in Nanyuki. Check in at the highland lodge and take a guided forest walk in the afternoon. Overnight on Full Board.
Morning game drive in the conservancy, with a good chance of rhino, elephant and reticulated giraffe. The rest of the day is free at the lodge, with the option to walk the grounds or sit with the mountain view. Overnight on Full Board.
Breakfast at the lodge, then the drive back to Nairobi.
