The Standard Gauge Railway runs from Nairobi to Mombasa with a stop at Voi, on the edge of Tsavo East National Park, Kenya's largest national park and home to elephant herds stained red by the local soil. The train ride replaces a 5 to 6 hour road transfer with a comfortable rail journey. This three-day, two-night Jamhuri package covers the return SGR fare, road transfer between Voi station and the lodge, two nights on full board, and twice-daily game drives.

Board the SGR train in Nairobi for the journey to Voi. On arrival, transfer by road to your lodge on the edge of Tsavo East. Afternoon game drive across the open plains. Overnight on full board.

Final morning game drive before breakfast and checkout. Road transfer back to Voi station for the return SGR journey to Nairobi.
