4 Days, 3 Nights Mount Kenya Climbing: Sirimon Down Sirimon
Central & Mount Kenya Circuit

Four days on the finest-walking side of Mount Kenya, up and back via Sirimon.
The 4-day Sirimon route takes you up the drier, northwest side of Mount Kenya, widely regarded as offering some of the finest walking on the mountain. The trail climbs through forest into a wide ridge approach to the summit area, starting from the Sirimon Gate near Nanyuki Town. Access is excellent and the bunk house facilities on this side of the mountain are the best available. Attempting the summit at Point Lenana (4,985 m) can be achieved in 4 days. Those with additional time can opt to add an extra night at Liki North Camp between Old Moses and Shipton for improved acclimatisation.
