With fewer tents and a more private setting deeper within the reserve, Explorer offers a quieter, more personal safari experience without sacrificing the quality of guiding that Heritage is known for. The camp is positioned close to the Talek River, with direct access to the productive game-viewing corridors along the river and the open grasslands to the south. The smaller group sizes on game drives mean more time in the best spots, less waiting, and a guiding experience that feels tailored rather than group-tour. Accommodation is in well-appointed luxury tents with en-suite bathrooms and private verandas overlooking the bush. The camp operates a full board program with communal dining in the main mess tent, a convivial setting to swap sightings stories at the end of the day.
