The Mt. Kenya region sits about 170 km north of Nairobi. The highland zone between 2,000 and 3,000 metres is cool, forested, and home to a cluster of lodges and conservancies that make a good Easter getaway. The scenery is dramatic without requiring any technical hiking. This package covers two nights at a lodge in the Mt. Kenya foothills, with a guided forest walk, a visit to the equator at Nanyuki, and optional horseback riding or trout fishing at the lodge.
