After a welcome breakfast and briefing, including dinner tonight at The Carnivore Restaurant, drive north through Mount Kenya's foothills to the semi-arid plains of Samburu. Arrive at Larsens Camp beside the Ewaso Ng'iro River in time for an afternoon game drive. Look for Samburu's Special Five in this unique northern wilderness. Overnight at Larsens Camp on full board.

Spend a full day on morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu National Reserve. The riverine forests along the Ewaso Ng'iro shelter leopards and crocodiles while the dry savannah is prime habitat for Grevy's Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, and Beisa Oryx. Optional cultural village visit to a Samburu Manyatta (extra cost). Overnight at Larsens Camp on full board.

Drive south from Samburu to the highland forests of the Aberdares. Check into The Ark Lodge, a unique treetop hotel built over a floodlit waterhole deep in the forest. Spend the evening watching elephant, buffalo, rhino, and forest antelope come to drink and wallow below your viewing deck. Overnight at The Ark Lodge on full board.

After an early morning game watch at The Ark, drive down from the Aberdares escarpment to freshwater Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. Check into Enashipai Resort & Spa, then enjoy an afternoon boat safari on the lake watching hippos, African Fish Eagles, and a dazzling variety of waterbirds. Optional walking safari to Hell's Gate National Park nearby. Overnight at Enashipai on full board.

Drive west from Naivasha across the Rift Valley escarpment and through the Maasai heartland to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive for an afternoon game drive over the vast rolling savannah. Settle into Ashnil Mara Camp for three nights. Overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp on full board.

Spend a full day in the Mara tracking the Big Five, lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino, alongside cheetah, zebra, wildebeest, and over 470 bird species. Morning and afternoon game drives maximize your time in the field. If visiting July–October, witness the iconic Great Migration river crossings. Overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp on full board.

Another day in the Maasai Mara allows you to explore different areas of the reserve, the Mara Triangle, the Talek River zone, and the open plains. Include a visit to a traditional Maasai Manyatta to experience the culture, song, and warrior traditions of the Maasai people. Overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp on full board.

Drive northeast from the Mara through the lush highlands of western Kenya to Kericho, the heart of Kenya's world-famous tea-growing region. The rolling hills are carpeted in vivid green tea plantations, a dramatic contrast to the dry savannah. Check in and relax after a day's drive. Overnight at Sunshine Lodge, Kericho.

Drive east to Lake Nakuru National Park, one of the Great Rift Valley's most spectacular landscapes. Home to White and Black Rhino, Rothschild Giraffe, flamingos, and a remarkable diversity of raptors and waterbirds. Afternoon game drive in the park. Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge on full board.

After a final morning game drive with a chance to see rhinos at close range, drive back to Nairobi. En route, stop at the Kibiko Children's Home in Ngong for a meaningful community visit. Return to Nairobi in time for airport transfers or an optional city tour before your international departure.
