3 Days Elephant Bedroom Camp Valentine Experience

Picked up from your Nairobi CBD location and driven north through the highlands and into Kenya's arid north. As the landscape opens up and the acacia scrub thickens, you arrive at Elephant Bedroom Camp on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Check in, freshen up, and take in the view from the dining veranda, elephants, baboons, and buffalo regularly pass through camp. An afternoon game drive introduces you to Samburu's rare northern wildlife before a romantic candlelit dinner back at camp. Overnight on Full Board.

Rise early for a morning game drive in the cool hours, the best time to spot predators returning from the night's hunt. Breakfast is served al fresco on the riverbank under the shade of the Doum palms. Spend the afternoon at leisure in camp or head out for a second game drive as the golden afternoon light settles over the reserve. Look for the Samburu specials: reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and the gerenuk, found here and nowhere further south. Dinner at camp with a specially arranged Valentine's evening. Overnight on Full Board.

A final morning game drive at sunrise before returning to camp for breakfast. Check out after the morning session and transfer back to Nairobi CBD, arriving in the early afternoon.
