6 Days Mt Kenya Climbing | Sirimon-Chogoria Route
Central & Mount Kenya Circuit

The Sirimon–Chogoria traverse over six days: ascend the dry west side, descend through bamboo and waterfalls.
The combination of the Sirimon and Chogoria routes offers the most varied experience on Mount Kenya. The ascent begins on the western Sirimon side, the driest approach, before the summit push to Point Lenana. Descent follows the Chogoria route, through the Gorges Valley, past waterfalls and highland tarns, down into bamboo forest. This six-day itinerary adds a rest day to the standard traverse, splitting the summit and descent into two separate days rather than one long push.
Safari Highlights

- Point Lenana summit (4,985 m), Africa's second-highest trekking peak
