Eliye Springs Resort sits 60 km north-east of Lodwar, directly on the sandy beach of Lake Turkana, the world's largest permanent desert lake and one of Kenya's most dramatic landscapes. Known as the Jade Sea for its distinctive green colour, Lake Turkana is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's last true wilderness frontiers. The resort is a water sports paradise offering swimming, boat rides, sports fishing, archaeological and cultural excursions, and exceptional bird watching. Central Island National Park, a volcanic island rising from the lake and home to vast Nile crocodile breeding grounds, is included in the package.

Fly from Nairobi to Lodwar. Transfer by road approximately 60 km north-east to Eliye Springs Resort on the shore of Lake Turkana. Arrive at the resort, check in, and settle in. Afternoon at leisure, swimming in the lake or relaxing on the sandy beach. Dinner and overnight at Eliye Springs Resort.
Full day on and around Lake Turkana. Morning boat trip to Central Island National Park, a dramatic volcanic island rising from the lake and one of the world's most important Nile crocodile breeding grounds. Explore the island's crater lakes and dramatic volcanic landscape. Afternoon back at the resort with time for swimming, sports fishing, and bird watching along the shoreline. Optional cultural or archaeological excursions can be arranged. Dinner and overnight at Eliye Springs Resort.
Final morning at leisure on the lake shore before checkout. Transfer to Lodwar for the return flight to Nairobi.
