Spend the entire day on a guided Materuni Village tour on the lush slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Visit thriving coffee shambas (farms) and learn the complete Chagga coffee production process, from cherry picking to wet processing to roasting. Your Chagga guide leads you through banana and coffee plantations to the spectacular Materuni Waterfall, where a natural pool invites a swim. After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive west through rolling Maasai highlands to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the crater floor for a half-day or full afternoon game drive in this remarkable natural enclosure.
