Entim Mara Camp | 3 Days 2 Nights

Depart Nairobi in the morning for the drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve (approximately 5–6 hours), or fly from Wilson Airport to one of the reserve's airstrips if you have arranged a charter flight. On arrival at Entim Mara Camp, you will be welcomed by the camp team with a cool drink and a brief orientation of the property. After settling into your tent and freshening up, head out for your first game drive of the safari in an open 4×4 vehicle with your dedicated Maasai guide. The late afternoon is one of the best times to find big cats, lions often emerge from the shade as temperatures drop, while cheetahs take advantage of the golden light to hunt on the open plains. Return to camp as the sun goes down for a hot shower, followed by a three-course dinner served under the stars. Overnight at Entim Mara Camp on Full Board.

Rise before dawn for an early morning game drive, departing camp while the sky is still dark. This is when the bush is most alive: lions heading back from a night hunt, leopards moving through the acacia thickets, and hyena clans returning to their dens. The golden hour light across the Mara plains at sunrise is unlike anything else in Africa. After the morning drive, return to camp for a full breakfast before heading back out for a midday game drive along the Mara and Talek River corridors. Depending on the season, your guide will position the vehicle at known crossing points to watch wildebeest and zebra navigate the crocodile-filled Mara River during the Great Migration. Lunch is served as a bush picnic in the open savannah, a collapsible table, camp chairs, and a cold box set up in the wild. The afternoon drive continues until after sunset, with time for a sundowner on the plains before returning to camp for dinner. Overnight at Entim Mara Camp on Full Board.

One final early morning game drive departs at first light, often the best of the safari, with the coolest temperatures and the most active predator behaviour. Track lion prides, spot elephants heading to the river, and listen for the bark of baboons that signals a leopard nearby. Return to camp for a full breakfast and time to pack before checkout. Your guide will transfer you back to the main road for the drive to Nairobi, or to the airstrip for your return charter flight. Arrive in Nairobi in the early to mid-afternoon.
