Board the Madaraka Express SGR from Nairobi and wake up at the edge of Tsavo. This package combines the novelty of Kenya's modern inter-county train with two nights at either Saltlick Safari Lodge or Taita Hills Lodge, both sitting inside the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, one of Kenya's most underrated wildlife destinations. Saltlick Safari Lodge is built on stilts above a floodlit waterhole, meaning game comes to you, elephant, buffalo, and the occasional leopard pass through day and night. Taita Hills Lodge sits in the broader sanctuary with comfortable rooms and excellent guided game drives. No long road transfers. No traffic. Board the train in Nairobi, alight in Voi, and you are in the wild within the hour.

Cancellation Policy

• •Child Policy, Children under 5 years are not permitted at Salt Lick Safari Lodge for safety reasons.
• •Children aged 5–11 yrs sharing with 1 or 2 adults: 50% of the adult sharing rate per child.
• •Children aged 5–11 yrs in their own room (minimum 2, maximum 3 children): 75% of the adult sharing rate per child.
• •Children under 12 yrs must share rooms adjacent to parents or accompanying adults (subject to availability).
