Kicheche Bush Camp Mara Eco Tour

Transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled safari flight to Mara North Conservancy. The flight takes approximately 45 minutes, offering aerial views of the Rift Valley and the Mara ecosystem below. On arrival at the bush airstrip, your Kicheche guide will meet you and transfer you to camp. After lunch and a camp orientation, your first afternoon game drive sets out across the conservancy. Mara North is one of the best-managed wildlife areas in Kenya, fewer vehicles, more space, and a higher density of predators than the main reserve. Overnight at Kicheche Bush Camp on full board.

Begin before dawn for a sunrise game drive across the conservancy with your award-winning Kicheche guide. Track lions on the hunt, follow cheetah as they move through the grasslands, and watch elephants at the river in golden morning light. Return to camp for a full cooked breakfast before a mid-morning guided walk or community visit, learning about the Kicheche Community Trust's work with local Maasai schools and health programmes. Afternoon game drive continues into the conservancy. In the evening, an optional night game drive reveals the nocturnal side of the Mara, a privilege not available inside the national reserve. A third day in Mara North allows you to explore further afield and go deeper into wildlife monitoring with your guide. Kicheche guides are among the most knowledgeable in the region, tracking individual animals by behaviour and territory. This morning may bring opportunities to observe a leopard in the riverine forest, or to witness a lion pride on a kill. Pack a bush picnic and spend the full day in the field. One last early morning game drive at first light, often the most rewarding session of any safari stay. Return to camp for breakfast and check-out before your guide transfers you to the bush airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Wilson Airport, Nairobi.
